Monaco has been dealt a blow to its squad as striker Stefan Mitrović is set to be out for two weeks due to a recurrence of his Achilles tendonitis.

The Serbian international was forced off in the 25th minute of Monaco's 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday, and it was confirmed by the club that he will be sidelined for at least two weeks.

Mitrovic's injury comes at a crucial time for Monaco, who have struggled without their star forward this season. The 27-year-old has scored five goals in 14 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions, but his absence could be a major setback for the team as they look to secure a top-four finish and potentially qualify for the Champions League next season.

In addition to Mitrovic's injury,Serie A Stadium Monaco also suffered another setback as midfielder Eduardo Camavinga underwent surgery on his ankle earlier this week. The France U21 international had been suffering from pain in his right foot and ankle, and the operation will allow him to recover fully ahead of the upcoming international break.

Despite these setbacks, Monaco remains optimistic about its chances of finishing in the top four and securing a spot in Europe's elite club competition. The team will now turn its attention to recovering from the injuries and preparing for the rest of the season.
