Real Madrid have announced that Mateo Kovačić has been included in their squad for the upcoming UEFA Champions League game against Barcelona at Camp Nou.
The Croatian midfielder, who joined Real from Juventus last summer, is expected to start in midfield alongside fellow Argentine star Lucas Vazquez. Kovačić was one of the standout performers during Real's recent 4-1 victory over Barcelona in La Liga, scoring twice as they secured all three points.
